Direct bolt on replacement high performance filter system. \n By placing the intake at \n the furthest practical point from the heat of the engine our intake gains about \n 4-6 horsepower and 3-4 foot-lbs of torque depending upon the ambient air. \n Location is extremely important. It doesnot not extend down into the lower bumper area thus reducing the chance of taking in water when driving in the rain or through puddles. Our heat shield is manufactured from low thermal conductivity composite to block out the hot engine air from the engine side and the intake input is located directly alongside the battery (battery acts as a great heat shield) just behind the factory cold air intake.
